This course refreshes your knowledge and skills by combining confined spaces planning, observing and entry with the use of gas testing equipment. It is about the safety of people who enter confined spaces including risk assessment and emergency procedures. Student will need to perform a simulated confined space entry safely.

- 18426: Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with Confined Spaces
- 17599: Plan a Confined Space entry
- 25510: Operate at atmospheric testing device to determine a suitable atmosphere exists to work safely
- 3058: Perform gas testing in an energy and chemical environment
ENTRY CRITERIA:
- Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards or at least one of the units.
- Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments.
- Recommended: 23229 - Use safety harness system when working at height. (Available form SureSafety)
