
This course refreshes your knowledge and skills by combining harness use with the selection, installation, use, and disestablishment of height safety equipment to set up fit-for-purpose height safety systems. The course also covers ladder risks, scaffolding, man cages, and elevated work platforms while working at heights. Training is mostly scenario-based to ensure students refresh their practical skills, including knots, rope use, and fall arrest devices.

- 15757: Use, install and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height
ENTRY CRITERIA:
- Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards or at least one of the units.
- Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments.
- Students must be at a suitable level of fitness to complete the practical components of the course and should preferably weigh below 138 kg due to harness weight restrictions.
